“SELECTING A TRUSTED BUSINESS PARTNER”

EXCLUSIVE SPEAKING ENGAGEMENT WITH DR. TERESA HERNANDEZ DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SERVICES & SAFETY, WELD COUNTY SCHOOLS

Dr. Hernandez serves Weld County Schools RE-1 as Director of Student Services & Safety. Her responsibilities include the full breadth of Information Technology and, specifically, protection of students, colleagues, schools facilities, and information. Her leadership and professional experience serve to provide subject matter expertise in the unique harmony between educational student services and the life-safety aspect of today’s school security culture.
She joins the ASIS Mile-Hi Chapter to share first-hand experience and insight into the process of Choosing a Trusted Business Partner and the complexities of navigating security technology providers, solutions, execution, and performance. Together with District investments, grant funding, and consultative guidance from her Trusted Business Partner, Dr. Hernandez has upgraded the security posture at her District and is working to maximize the resources she is tasked with stewarding on behalf of tax payers.


In addition to a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, Dr. Hernandez has earned a Masters in Educational Administration and a Bachelors in Secondary Education. Her experience includes leadership and membership in such influential organizations as:
